Sen. Rand Paul (R-Ky.) responded to criticism Sen. John McCain (R-Ariz.) has lobbed against him, saying in an interview, ”I treat Sen. McCain with respect, I don’t know if I always get the same in return.” McCain, who opposed Paul’s filibuster of now-CIA Director John Brennan, also referred to Paul, along with Sen. Ted Cruz (R-Tex.) and Rep. Justin Amash (R-Mich.), as “wacko birds” in a separate interview.Paul's filibuster did at least pull him within one of a stopped-clock, so that I guess is an accomplishment.

The deal with John McCain and pissing matches is
He'll have them all the time, especially every couple of hours during the night.

A stopped clock's right twice a day. Paul's more like twice a year.
Sure, one can make the argument that McCain is angry because Paul got on McCain's defense hobby horse and rode it in the wrong direction, that Paul was indirectly attacking one of McCain's favorite corporate charities.
But, underneath it all is the suspicion that McCain is just a born drama queen and attention whore, and the mere thought of Paul dominating the news cycle for even a day--and on a subject even remotely related to defense--must have McCain pissing in his own Wheaties.
Can't wait to see what happens when the College of Cardinals doesn't pick him to be Pope.
how do you respect somebody w/ that hair?
