Naturally

You must work yourself to death:

CBO Director Douglas Elmendorf told the House Budget Committee on Thursday that the health care law will reduce employment by 0.5 percent by 2021 because some people will no longer have to work just to afford health insurance.

This is held out by the GOP as "job killing" naturally.

Would it be uncivil of me if I said, "I want to kick them in the crotch"?

With 9% unemployed, a .5% reduction in employment ought to reduce the unemplyed rate to 8.5% as unemployed take the jobs of those leaving.
Of course this is too simplistic for a GOP that cannot see any good in anything the Obama Adm. does.

In ten years.

"...the health care law will reduce employment by 0.5 percent by 2021..."

Arithmetically, that would be 80,000 leaving the workforce per year, or 6,667 per month.

Meanwhile, 100,000 people lost jobs each month in the last quarter.

I have long thought that this is the major reason corporate america is against socialized medicine.

People who would love to become small business owners are currently forced to stay at jobs with corporations simply to have access to health insurance.

If that weren't the case- how many people would leave the corp slave labor pool to open small businesses, knowing that their family wouldn't be left without insurance.

I can't tell you the number of people I know who have stayed at jobs they hate because they need the insurance. Hell, my mother-in-law continued to work into her 70's as she was afraid of losing her awsome health insurance benfits.

The Republican Party in a nutshell: They oppose "job" (actually profit) killing regulations, but support worker killing jobs through revocation of labor laws, work place safety regulations, and other protections.
