Of Pies and Them

Alright, I admit in a fashion there is a sense of satisfaction that the reprehensible Coulter, Bill Kristol, Pat Buchanan and now David Horowitz have had pies and or other non harmful foodstuffs tossed at them.

I don't know if this is a trend.

But I do know that as funny as it is, it can easily be turned against the left with the broadbrush of we are all babies.

But mostly it reminds me that nothing will be both as humorous and self-defeating to me as when in my college years in Minnesota I watched the antics of anti-CIA protestors calling themselves the REVOLUTIONARY ANARCHIST BOWLING LEAGUE, their modus operandi was to toss bowling balls into the buildings in which the CIA was recruiting. They predated the dates Wikipedia gave them, they were around in the early 1980s.

And in the end that really did not accomplish much other than to let me tell this story.

Anyhoo, their method of protest, while novel, didn't change much. I don't think a pastry in the beak will do much either.

But then again, I post a lot of juvenile stuff on this blog - without it accomplishing much beyond entertainment value (which has its own value), so YMMV.

I think there is a suspect
