FIFA -- Sure they're corrupt...but kind of awesomely so

I know not a lot of you give a shit about international soccer...or as it is known internationally, football, but still it is somewhat refreshing when corruption is openly demonstrated...and for some reason it's kind of awesome to see the US and England get bullied back.

FIFA's senior vice-president, Julio Grondona, has accused England of "always complaining" and said he voted for Qatar for 2022 because "a vote for the US would be like a vote for England"...

In an interview with a German press agency on Tuesday, Grondona called England "pirates" and added: "Yes, I voted for Qatar, because a vote for the US would be like a vote for England, and that is not possible.

"But with the English bid I said: Let us be brief. If you give back the Falkland Islands, which belong to us, you will get my vote. They then became sad and left."

Take that Margaret Thatcher!

Still not the winner of worst thing Grondona ever said...that would be this:

“I do not believe a Jew can ever be a referee at this level. It’s hard work and, you know, Jews don’t like hard work.”

Yeah, I guess it is awesome to see the US and England get bullied back. If you're a pathetic, gelded little baby.

You are correct...That is FN awesome. I just love petulance laced with dogmatism. Almost makes me want to belt out an Evita show tune but I can't. It scares the sheep.....The Qatar thing is going to work out so well.

Just wait until Qatar doesn't let in body painted Swedish fans, FIFA will give it to Brazil faster than the Italians take a dive
