A handful of Charles Guiteaus with money

I wouldn't sleep too soundly Turd-Blossom...and don't walk without security to any train stations:

Many of the lightning bolts were aimed at none other than Karl Rove, the former Bush administration political genius who oversaw the deployment of nearly $400 million in campaign spending through outside groups American Crossroads and Crossroads GPS toward the presidential race and toward numerous Senate and House races.

"The billionaire donors I hear are livid," one Republican operative told The Huffington Post. "There is some holy hell to pay. Karl Rove has a lot of explaining to do … I don't know how you tell your donors that we spent $390 million and got nothing."

Sure, they're livid. They were told--and they believed--that they could buy a national election outright, cash on the barrel head.

Next time, they might succeed. This time they didn't. What KKKarl told them was the same thing that the banks told all of us about the mushrooming housing bubble--that it was risk-free.

So, the capitalists got taken in by their own brand of snake oil, hoisted by their own petard, as it were.

Heh. Wouldn't surprise me that they'll be petitioning the government to bail them out for their election losses, too.

You gotta wonder how much Rove was paid out of that 390 million.

There will be no consequences for him, even if Anonymous publishes his e mails.

No problem. Rove will just tell them they have to pay more if they expect to win. Dumb bastards will fork it over. Dumb bastards always do.
