Project on you crazy diamonds

Having overwhelmingly lost the vote of women, especially single women, in 2012, the "intellectuals" at FoxNews have devised a cunning plan.   Make sure they lose them even worse by saying societies ills, such as they imagine them, can be laid at the feet of all the single ladies.

Deposit your check from Roger Ailes and take it away Suzanne Venker:

As the author of three books on the American family and its intersection with pop culture, I’ve spent thirteen years examining social agendas as they pertain to sex, parenting, and gender roles. During this time, I’ve spoken with hundreds, if not thousands, of men and women. And in doing so, I’ve accidentally stumbled upon a subculture of men who’ve told me, in no uncertain terms, that they’re never getting married. When I ask them why, the answer is always the same.

Women aren’t women anymore.

These must be the same people Ann Romney spoke to, in fact I'm pretty sure they are just as hypothetical.

I think the last time I recall such a discussion on this topic it was in the middle of "The Two Towers".

Of course, who am I?   Just another person that has lived five-decades and who has never once heard this complaint from any living man or woman I have either spoken to or overheard.

But I have a feeling, they are plentiful indeed in the imaginations of your average FoxNews talking head.

In a nutshell, women are angry. They’re also defensive, though often unknowingly. That’s because they’ve been raised to think of men as the enemy. Armed with this new attitude, women pushed men off their pedestal (women had their own pedestal, but feminists convinced them otherwise) and climbed up to take what they were taught to believe was rightfully theirs.
Now the men have nowhere to go.

“It’s true, you don’t see many dwarf women. And in fact, they are so alike in voice and appearance, that they’re often mistaken for dwarf men.”

“It’s the beards.”

“And this, in turn, has given rise to the belief that there are no dwarf women, and that dwarves just spring out of holes in the ground. Which is, of course, ridiculous.”

The little blue pills aren’t working any more for Fox Nation. Their git up an’ go done got up and left. So of course it’s all the wimmens' fault.

Here, let me make the first fix: "Women aren’t as readily amenable to being replacement mommy's to do all my cleaning and cooking while I hang with the guys doing guy stuff anymore."

Republicans love phony wars: the War on Christmas, the War on Men, the War on Religion.

And they love actual wars, at least if they don't have to fight in them. They're just fine with the idea of war and all the wartime profits.

Now I'm about ready to declare my own War on Idiots. Fox News seems like a target-rich place to start.

Speaking as an old fart who grew up in Leave it to Beaver World, I would have to say that the women today are even more womanly (and much less like Stepford wives) than they used to be. I applaud this change.

There's some Women out there.
