Could always happen. But there's no Secret Service protection that I'm aware of for Senators- or Representatives-elect. Honestly, I'm more worried about the Jared Lee Loughners trying to nullify an election in Massachusetts or Wisconsin.
I really worried about the Presidents safety. Remember the nutjobs shoot up the WH when Clinton was there? And he was a white guy! Then there was the kamikaze attack too. I worried about Obamas well being his beautiful family. But nothing really has come out of it & after a while I relaxed. Now I wonder if this re-election will drive the batshit insane the rest of the way around the bend?
