Justice Antonin Scalia suggested that the continuation of Section 5 of the Voting Rights Act represented the "perpetuation of racial entitlement," saying that lawmakers had only voted to renew the act in 2006 because there wasn't anything to be gained politically from voting against it.That, again, comes from a guy who says legislative intent is bunk. Something is certainly bunk.

"Problem Solved!"
The conservatives of the Supreme Court sure reflected their rich life experiences in discussing the Voting Rights Act yesterday.
Of course Antonin Scalia self-proclaimed "originalist" showed that his original thought ends with whatever he heard on FoxNews last week.
