Pope Benedict XVI will be known as "emeritus pope" in his retirement and will continue to wear a white cassock, the Vatican announced Tuesday, again fueling concerns about potential conflicts arising from having both a reigning and a retired pope.I guess it beats shackles and an Orange jump suit like he might deserve.

He'll have to lose the ruby slippers, at least in public. But what happens in Castel Gandolfo, stays in Castel Gandolfo.
I guess he's now a Gandolfini (and Tony Soprano).
It's been so long since a Pope retired, I guess the Catholic hierarchy has forgotten the traditional method for dealing with this. Try him on some charge and kill him, then dig him up try him again and ritually kill him again.
