Animal Farm

This was actually written by the braintrust (such as it is) of Politico in 2012:

If President Barack Obama wins, he will be the popular choice of Hispanics, African-Americans, single women and highly educated urban whites. That’s what the polling has consistently shown in the final days of the campaign. It looks more likely than not that he will lose independents, and it’s possible he will get a lower percentage of white voters than George W. Bush got of Hispanic voters in 2000.

A broad mandate this is not.
Shorter MASTERS VandeHei and Allen:

All voters are equal,
White voters are more equal than others.

Of all the ways Pool Boi is full of shit, there's one very obvious one. R-money will basically get the same percentage of whites as Republicans have always gotten, plus or minus a few percent. And it's no longer enough.

R-money will lose tomorrow. And Republicans will keep losing from now on, forever, as long as they maintain the Southern Strategy of Goldwater and Nixon. That's the whole point.

Hey Pool Boi, keep on diggin'.

This is just another way to nullify the win when Obama is reelected.

Another way is to claim that Sandy gave him a second term.

A final thought going into the last day of the campaign-
We know that President Obama is not perfect. We disagree with some of his policies but we know that he shares a similar vision of America as a land of opportunity for all, not just those with the head start of wealth, power and privilege. Our campaign is based on carrying through the promises he's made. On the other hand, those at the highest levels of the Republican campaign know they have based their efforts on cynicism and lies. Socialist. Muslim. Kenyan. Partisan. The Republican message machine has convinced people that all this and more is true but they never believed it themselves. Romney, Ryan, the ridiculous caricature that is Trump and all the other surrogates have never believed the bile they spewed. The Republicans do have a vision for America but they dare not utter it aloud. The 47% tape was a rare glimpse behind the veil.
In the end this has to be reflected in the election. Passion and effort on behalf of what you believe in has to triumph over cynicism and manipulation of the basest divisive elements of our country. People who go to work each day, people who want the best for their kids can't really be taken in by such chicanery and the Obama victory should be by a larger margin than expected.. I hope we'll all be surprised Wednesday that the American people aren't as gullible as the Republicans believe they are.

just goes to show we need to go back to the values of our founding fathers (who only let white men vote.)
