As predicted by James Wolcott... our Lord and Chimperor will attend the funeral of the man who thought him a war mongerer [not that it will be mentioned by the Press, that would be rude to the memory of the Pope who must have loved God's youngest son]
Although, I guess if as typical protocol Cheney had been sent they feared he might have eschewed mourning dress and worn a bitchin' burgundy valour jumpsuit with "VEEP" stiched on the left breast pocket to the funeral.
