At a terminal speed of 7 miles per hour , an object could theoretically be lifted by momentum about a foot and a half above the surface. That ain't gonna do what you see in these pics.
I don't think they're photoshopped, I think the top speed of the Manta's are probably what's incorrect.... the chances that someone has been underwater to do a speed check on one of these beauties during the run up to a breach & leap is slim to none.
and let's face it, there's a lot that we don't know about sea life.
Hello, you run such a wonderful portal, it was impossible not to comment on this one! In addition to that I would like to ask you a question that is extremely exciting to me. Is it a premium blog theme that you purchase or this one is a default one?

With all that oil and Corexit in the water, it's understandable they'd want to get away from it for a little while.
