Sorry, gotta call Photoshop. They're pretty good ones, though.

At a terminal speed of 7 miles per hour , an object could theoretically be lifted by momentum about a foot and a half above the surface. That ain't gonna do what you see in these pics.

Unless Aquaman hurled Black Manta out of his realm. In which case it makes perfect sense.

I don't think they're photoshopped, I think the top speed of the Manta's are probably what's incorrect.... the chances that someone has been underwater to do a speed check on one of these beauties during the run up to a breach & leap is slim to none.

and let's face it, there's a lot that we don't know about sea life.
