When Steinbrenner died last week my first thought was "I wish Steve was here." It would have been great to read his thoughts. I posted a comment on a Balloon Juice thread about someone's comment which seemed to contain a reference to Steve's mantra. Steve is missed a lot by a lot of people. PurpleGirl

Here we have the irritating right winger, conspiracy theorist Glenn Beck, the more centrist but still abrasively loudmouthed, right winger Bill O'Reilly and the annoying goofy leftie, Geraldo Rivera.
The repeated posting of the Andrew Cuomo bit is actually being done by Hedley. (You can trace origin through the sitemeter link at the bottom of the web page.) The pathetic Hedley has been posing as others on the innernut, even though his Doctor told him it's probably quite bad for his particular personality disorder.

Thanks for the memory, Atta. I'm a lifelong Yankees fan, but I always loved Gilliard's informad rantical writings. He is missed.

I miss reading Steve's blog. Great sense of history. And the guy loved and wrote about the sort of food you shouldn't eat once you hit 45.
