Noonan, I think, has more delicate sensibilities and would settle for a decently-sized gin tankard, requiring only one large handle and a scale on the side for how many drops of vermouth per pint of gin.

What? The bottle is a glass. once you drink the first few it aerates just fine.
The only problem with the bottle-sized glass is that it makes it hard to drink it out of the brown paper bag.
