If I may

Let me wish good luck to my chosen English Premier League team -- chosen for no logical reason.

C'mon Stoke, go Potters. Try to score a goal this season that wasn't from a throw-in!

Please feel free to comment, or ignore, on your team this year on the Opening of the season.

West Ham made some decent signings and should avoid the relegation dogfight this season. Also, too, I'm excited about newly promoted St. Pauli and hope that they can stick around the Bundesliga for more than a year.

um, is that soccer ? ? ?
soccer sux...
i'm a libtard, and i hate soccer...
boring to play, boring to watch...
shit, if i wanted to be bored, i'd watch baseball...
seriously, i'd rather watch curling than soccer...
...or billiards with chicks (billiards with guys is just too many balls on the table...)
...or any of a BUNCH of sports we don't get much exposure to (even on ESPNobscure), track and field, rugby, table tennis, badminton...
there are PLENTY of sports that are -objectively speaking- far more exciting to watch than soccer...
it is ONLY if you are tribally committed to your 'home' team, do you give a shit about that shit...
hell, they don't even score enough to have any meaningful stats...
"he has 12 almost-good passes per game, johan!"
"yes, and an unbelievable 9 nearly-got-my-foot-on-it whiffs per game, as well, stefan! fantastic stuff!"
*snore*
wake me when 'roid-raging manly-men football is on the teevee...
maybe if soccer allowed a player to THROW a ball like dog almighty intended, they would have some decent damn scoring...
just a thought...

They scored on a nice header off a corner. Does that count?

There's only one sport really worth watching, and participating is much more satisfying.

Chelsea looks tough again.

I'd like a new team to win the League this year, instead of Chelsea, Man U and Arsenal mucking it up again.
