We Shall Soon Return to Your Regularly Scheduled Programming

Hegemaniacs,

A few of you have written (to me and in comments) wondering about the whereabouts of our beloved Mister Turk.

Rest assured that he will return shortly, just as soon as he finishes tending to some all-important fez-related program activities.

Thank you for your patience.

As much as I enjoy you filling in, I sure do miss him.
Hope all is well with Mister Turk.

I hope he is building the fez shaped gay wedding chapel in Des Moines.

Ioway's a big place. Could be anywhere from Ottumwa to Storm Lake to Bettendorf. i say leave him be and just thank our lucky stars it's not winter. He'll turn up.

I was almost worried that something abhorent or dastardly had happened. Then I realized that he was probably just really, really busy getting ready for an early soybean and corn harvest.

Anyway, hope all's well and will be glad to see the good Dr. up and at em. I assume that the hip youngsters are still saying "up and at em."

hope it's sandy/puter and not family issues.

Hmm, Attaturk disappears, and Ken Mehlman comes out of the closet a few days later. Coincidence?

Since Iwanians are the worlds slowest drivers he just might be on the road from Iowa City to Des Moines. A trip that can take weeks.
