There is only one thing left to do

Congratulations Geller-nauts, you have managed to go full apeshit...again.

A group led by the father of a Flight 93 victim will be running full-page ads this Friday and Saturday in a Shanksville-area newspaper, criticizing the perceived Islamic symbol it sees in the memorial's Field of Honor — the dirt circle in the top picture that resembles a topographical map.

You know what else is going to be in the shape of the Islamic Crescent on 9/11?

The Moon:

So truly, there is only one thing left to do in regard to this terrorist-sympathizing inanimate object.

To not blow up the moon would offend the sympathies of all those affected by 9/11, especially the ones who are complete assholes.

I'd like to get my hands on this hateful little purveyor of crescentic imagery. Maybe bake him, with a little cinnamon glaze. Mmmm mmm!

Yes, crescent rolls could be the new Freedom Fries! If only we had a catchy alternative name.

Zut alors! Le croissant means "crescent"!

And, it's a pastry from those wussy, old-Europe FRENCH.

Good idea Raoul! I'd like to propose a name a Teabagger could support. Since those pastry goodies are so yummy you'd bypass other treats on the table just to get to them, I think they should be called Reach-Arounds. "How 'bout a Reach-Around, you naughty little dough-boy!" Pretty good, huh?

The crescent business might not be quite the joke that you defeatists attempt to portray.

For example, the original 2005 design proposal of the Flight 93 Memorial did have the crescent shape oriented towards Mecca, as was shown by an azimuthal equidistant projection. Dunno if the changed design (subsequent to the fuss thar was raised) still carries the same orientation.

Make no mistake, though, there ARE Islamists (and terrorist enablers) within Western societies that are looking to poke the bear where they can. The "ground zero Mosque" is one example and the proposed Flight 93 Memorial was/is another.

Don't forget that Islamism has been losing to the kaffir -- that's us, the dirty infidels -- and losing bigtime since the late 1400s and will take whatever small and symbolic victories wherever they can.

I suppose you're going to say you're using the term iin it's original construction. Which is probably true as your ideas come from the 16th century. Otherwise not.

oops, i should have said attitudes and world view not ideas (which are lacking).

tall tales about the croissant:

Many people have heard that the croissant was created in 1686 in Budapest, Hungary by a courageous and watchful baker, at a time when the city was being attacked by the Turks. Working late one night, he heard odd rumbling noises and alerted the city's military leaders. They found that the Turks were trying to get into the city by tunneling under the city's walls. The tunnel was destroyed and the baker was a hero, but a humble hero — all he wanted in reward was the sole right to bake a special pastry commemorating the fight. The pastry was shaped like a crescent, the symbol of Islam, and presumably meant that the Hungarians had eaten the Turks for lunch.

The problem with this story is that it's all made up. It first showed up in the first version of the great French food reference Larousse Gastronmique, in 1938. Later on, the story switched locations to Vienna, during the Turkish siege there in 1863, but that was also a fabrication.

Present day Islamists often use this term (kaffir).

Self-loathing racism now?

......what the fuck do mean by "self-loathing racism"?
Islamists use the term in reference to non-believers not to any one particular race.

heh/ this oughta be good. I'll get some popcorn.
