The (W)reckoning!
In the deep south it is now okay (actually "still" okay) for a black man to repeatedly be denied promotion and get called "boy" by the decision-makers -- repeatedly over several years -- and have it not be considered relevant evidence of racial animus.

Of course it's OK. There's no racism anymore, didn't you get the memo?
Absolutely, Atta. And, you can jump down, turn around and pick a bale of cotton without it being racist, too.
And, Jim Crow, lynching and bombing black churches wasn't about race but about preserving tradition, family values and a cherished way of life. And the Civil War wasn't about slavery. Oh, yeah, and slavery never really existed - it was a war of northern aggression.
is alabama still america?
If white employer can't demean a black employee by calling him "boy" year after year, isn't that reverse discrimination? It's time we reclaim the civil rights movement by using the derogatory words white people have used for centuries against people of color. Martin Luther King would have wanted it that way. He had a dream!*

Don't ya'all know thea's not a whiff of prejewdice in anything white merica does. If boy is so bad, well, I'll one up you with the towelheads of the muslim world, the illegals out of Mexico, but it's not prejewdice, just keeping folks dancing in their place.

can't get promoted if you lack a sense of humor.
Oh dear sweet Jeebus on a Matzoh. Some things just do not seem to change. Ever. Having grown up with Jim Crow in the 50ss and 60ss, I had hoped that we had kind of moved past this kind of blatant racist bullshit, but I guess not. I certainly do not regret leaving the south.
Considering that TWO juries in ALABAMA awarded this man damages and it was appealed and overturned twice in GEORGIA.... How is that Alabama's fault??
