Dear Minnesota Vikings' Management

Mr. Adrian Peterson's agent would like you to remember who is carrying the team on his back the next time you consider giving somebody $20 million bucks.

Sincerely,

Reality.

George Blanda signed with Chicago Bears owner George Halas for $600 in 1949, and then worked for peanuts for the better part of a decade before quitting in disgust and bailing to the AFL. He's rested, he's ready, and I'll bet he'll work cheap.

The real key here is not just the quarterback situation. I think the Vikes should be on the fone to the Jets and see if they can't trade Peterson for Tomlinson.

sure, nice win, but it was the lions.

Shit. Blanda got tired of waiting for the call, and signed a long term contract with a better team.
